Major duties

Works under the direction of the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Operations Chief. Performing a variety of administrative support duties to assist with the administration of the personnel services branch. Responsible for preparing and tracking NAF (Nonappropriated Fund) all civilian personnel actions in an automated system for accuracy prior to sending them to the HR personnel office. Maintains enterprise-wide strength level data. Review and screen Request for Personnel Actions (RPA) for elements that affect the organization structure or staffing levels. Tracks and monitors employees requesting leave without pay. Receives all award requests and nominations. Reviews all awards to ensure compliance with organizations civilian award policy. Applies payroll regulations and guidance as required. Ensures appropriate action is taken in time and attendance automated system, reports and coordinate benefit payment with the financial management branch, ensures applicable personnel action(s) are submitted by management.

What you need to qualify

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have work experience demonstrating knowledge related to duties described above. Must have excellent working knowledge of automation. Must know how to prepare and manage reports. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point and experience in Microsoft Office software. The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application. Highly Preferred - Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly preferred criteria. Experience working with a personnel database/system, Blue Force (or comparable timekeeping system), and OLRV (Online Reports View) or equivalent. Experience working with manning document/TDAs (Table of distribution and allowances). Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list.
