What you'd do

Major duties
You will work on environmental protection projects of complex scope involving analysis, development, implementation and management of environmental programs. You will provide day-today environmental compliance and oversight. You will manage installation aspects of environmental plans and permits by ensuring compliance with permits issued by local, State, and Federal regulatory agencies. You will maintain knowledge/oversight of compliance status including inspection discrepancies, status of corrective actions, and permit compliance data. You will respond to and oversee spill response team actions.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Environmental compliance media management; 2) Knowledge of environmental protection laws, regulations, licensing/permit requirements, and precedent decisions governing environmental operations; 3) Solving problems using established policies.
