About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 30 FSS Civilian Personnel Flight NAF Human Resources Office (HRO).
Major duties
The primary purpose of this position is to provide clerical support and perform routine administrative tasks to assist HR Assistants and HR Specialists assigned to the NAF personnel office. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, sorting and distributing the mail, and providing routine support tasks within the NAF HR office. Performs records management tasks/responsibilities. Drafts outgoing correspondence. Operates a personal computer and office software programs to enter data, complete forms, and to assist applicants in applying for vacancies. Utilizes automated office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, or equivalent) in accomplishment of tasks. Makes copies, scans documents, uploads and files documents for casefile or recordkeeping purposes. Provides general information regarding position vacancies, application procedures, status on vacancies and requests, etc. May assist in providing recruitment and placement service to Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) activities. Refers inquiries about specific issues or actions to the appropriate assistant or specialist. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifying Experience: This is an entry level position therefore no minimum qualifications are required. Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of a Tier 1 background investigation is required.
