What you'd do

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the PROGRAM MANAGEMENT-INFO TECH DIVISION of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Major duties

You will establish business controls and management tools to ensure the design, acquisition, implementation and administration of IT systems. You will serve as the program and technical manager for multiple enterprise wide Information Technology Systems. You will provide leadership to subordinate commands to ensure adherence to standard archictecture. You will provide managerial and technical decisions required for corporate level system development.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying mastery knowledge of the principles and concepts of a wide range of methods and techniques used in conducting or directing program/project analysis evaluation. Experience applying knowledge of relevant Federal contracting regulations and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. Experience applying knowledge of the system development life cycle for information technology systems. Experience applying knowledge of Industrial Depot operations for ship/ships systems and the Information Technology Infrastructure and Software Systems necessary for depot level maintenance/repair operations.
