What you'd do

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Arts and Craft Center Shaw AFB.

Major duties

Takes frame orders, suggesting mat colors and picture set ups. Determines mat opening and frame size. Computes price of order using frame software. Frames pictures, needlework, photos, etc. Mounts photos, stretches needlework, designs layout for shadow boxes. Assembles frames, measures and cuts mats. Measures and cut glass. Recommends order of framing supplies and equipment. Assists customers in the graphics printing and awards shops. Serves when needed in other program areas within the Production Department. Opens and closes the register and checks out customers when they have made their selections. Assists with counting inventory. Performs other related duties as assigned. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Have experience directly related to the duties scribed above. Be customer service oriented. Have a working knowledge of computer and graphics software such as Corel Draw. Have a working knowledge of a wide variety of arts and crafts disciplines, to include graphics and awards. Subject to satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check (NACI). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
