What you'd do

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT BRANCH, BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION, SENSORS WEAPONS AND LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.

Major duties

You will serve as the Senior Program Analyst responsible for all department program financial planning and execution oversight. You will serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to Customer Advocates and line management regarding financial metrics. You will lead department financial strategic and long-term planning efforts for direct and overhead accounts. You will analyze impacts and make recommendations concerning major programs, manpower, funding and strategy. You will monitor analyze and validate planning data and funding execution from varying sources such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Enterprise Digital Capabilities (EDC), and Workload Acceptance and Assignment Process (WAAP). You will analyze Navy civilian activity and technical program financial data to identify and resolve problems and issues.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing Microsoft Excel and enterprise platforms to analyze data, formulate, defend, and implement resource allocation strategies, provide cost-analytical support, financial oversight, and ensure strict regulatory compliance and optimal fund execution for a Working Capital Fund (WCF) organization.
