MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a non-supervisory Manpower Management Analyst at the GG-13 grade level for the N7 Readiness & Training Department at Cryptologic Warfare Group Six, responsible for providing advice and support for workforce management and manpower analysis for CWG-SIX and six subordinate commands, one overseas detachment as well as multiple overseas Unit Identification Codes (UIC).
Major duties
You will Performs a wide range of complex tasks to analyze, report statistics, evaluate, advise, or enhance the effectiveness of organizational structures and procedures. You will recommend the utilization of manpower resources to ensure the required billet structure is in place to support the Command's critical mission requirements You will provide management analysis advice and guidance of concepts and practices that best support the Command's manning objectives. You will conduct and provide statistical analysis of manpower requirements and utilization in chart, matrix, or narrative form for leadership's decision, while also sharing with manning/manpower representatives from all subordinate commands. You will provide manpower authorization data for budget preparation/reporting. You will maintain databases to reflect organizational posture, strength, accountability, and in order to accommodate various reporting requirements. You will manage multiple UICs, Enlisted Ratings, Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) Codes and Officer designators. You will perform analysis of personnel manning issues and provides briefings, or input to presentations, to key personnel and senior planners. You will provide recommendations on personnel manning priorities, issues, and placement. You will coordinate and liaise with higher Navy headquarters, joint service/agency subheads and staff on workforce management and manpower related activities and requirements.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Analyze, report statistics in chart, matrix, or narrative format, evaluate, enhance the effectiveness of organizational structures and procedures by recommending utilization of manpower resources to ensure the required billet structure is in place to support critical mission requirements. Provides manpower authorization data for budget preparation/reporting and annual Program Objective Memorandum. Track and manage key manpower billet changes and updates as required in relevant databases at various security classification levels. Assure accuracy of numerous manpower/personnel attributes (e/g manpower type, skills, qualifications) in order to provide proper demand signal for the commands manpower and personnel placement system.
