What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) in the Administrative Department of TSC PENSACOLA.

Major duties

You will interpret current and proposed military personnel action regulations to determine the impact on an organization. You will evaluate human resource workforce performance to identify training and development needs for employees. You will analyze qualitative and quantitative data to report human capital management statistical information to managers. You will consult with customers on human resources issues (e.g., strategic workforce development, sustainment, compensation management, organizational design). You will develop a strategic staffing plan to meet future workforce needs.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Review pay and personnel allowances & entitlements in accordance with laws and regulations; 2) Ensure records maintenance is performed in automated personnel systems for quality assurance and/or Monitor personnel actions (e.g. separations, transfers, and retirements) for inclusion in the Official Military Personnel File (OMPF); 3) Utilize various automated systems to verify pay and personnel actions; 4) Identify gaps in workflow processes and Establish workload to achieve efficiency of operations; 5) Advise customers on policy concerning pay and personnel accounts and resolve complex pay and personnel questions and issues; and 6) Reviews transactions submitted to update service member's pay and personnel records.
