Major duties
Serves as the manager for the Nehelani and may serve in a dual capacity as Recreation Delivery Program Team leader. Develops, manages, plans and administers recreation activities programs to support eligible personnel for Nehelani activities. Observes each program area to evaluate effectiveness of leadership and operation, effectiveness of service provided to the community and conformance to operating standards and regulations. As Recreation Delivery Program Team leader is responsible for planning and executing of community special events that respond to the needs and interest of the military/civilian population. Conducts periodic staff meetings and takes appropriate action for employee misconduct as well as recommending employee for awards.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: MINIMUM QUALIFICATION CRITERIA Directly related work experience that provided the applicant the ability, knowledge, skills, principles, methods and techniques to plan, organize, coordinate, supervise and evaluate a recreational program. *Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualification criteria above. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess ALL of the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": HIGHLY QUALIFIED CRITERIA Applicant Must Have the following: At least 1 years' experience planning and executing special events at a medium to large sized garrison. Minimum of 2 years' experience in writing OPORDS and creating CONOPS. Experience briefing Garrison and MWR Leadership to include Internal Progress Reviews (IPR)for Special Events. 2 years minimum experience creating contracts and utilizing PRISM. 1 years' experience as a community activity center manager or equivalent.
