Major duties

Serves as a Management Analyst supporting human capital metrics, staffing workload, and position management tracking through key workforce reports. Reviews data from multiple sources to identify trends, anomalies, recurring delays, workload imbalances, and potential barriers to timely workforce acquisition support. Delivers analysis to help management evaluate workforce acquisition performance, prioritize follow-ups, and enhance responsiveness. Assists management in defining data elements, business rules, reporting requirements, and process steps to produce improved dashboards and workload planning tools. Prepares briefings, executive summaries, meeting materials, issue papers, and workload updates for senior leaders.

What you need to qualify

You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement. You must meet the minimum qualification requirements as stated in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/Standards/group-stds/gs-prof.asp. Specialized Experience:GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience is defined as: Specialized experience is defined as: experience diagnosing problems and implementing plans to improve or change the organization; OR experience developing business process design, systems, or technology; OR identifying HR process risks or evaluating service delivery performance, and providing optimization recommendations; OR analyzing complex human capital metrics to build reporting tools, (i.e. Power BI dashboards) Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
