What you'd do

You will serve as an INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DIVISION of COMAEWINGPAC.

Major duties

You will plan, develop and implement security plans involving access to grounds, hangars, and buildings by employees, vendors, and government personnel. You will conduct inspections of security systems and guard services at the local level, to assure contract compliance. You will perform impromptu inspections of facilities and personnel to assess protection against espionage. You will assists in developing security plans involving access to grounds by employees, vendors, and government personnel. You will consider and apply approved alternatives pertinent to the security requirements for highly specific situations. You will participate in inspections of contract security systems and contract guard services for specified buildings and facilities, to assure contract compliance. You will plan, implement, and manage physical security protective methods and procedures, including a variety of intrusion detection systems and devices, safes, storage containers, locks and locking systems.

What you need to qualify

FOR GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising security operations by recommending improvements with established security systems and programs to resolve a variety of conventional security problems, questions, or situations for a military security facility.
