This LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER position, is located in the Logistics function in an Army National Guard (ARNG) Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) and is part of the CA AASF Stockton.
Major duties
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER, GS-0346-13, is to manage, plan, organize, and direct AASF logistics operations in support of AASF and supported aviation unit training and flight operations. The Aviation Logistics Management Officer (ALMO) provides logistical support to, and partners with, the AASF Commander, Flight Operations, Safety, Quality Assurance, and supported unit commanders in planning, scheduling, and implementing a comprehensive flying program. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
What you need to qualify
General Experience: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field; Experience using computer and automation systems. LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER, GS-0346-13: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-12 level experience in identifying activities involving logistical support operations; Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan; Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan; Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions; Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices; Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
