SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a GG-0343-15 Supervisory Management Analyst for NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY in Springfield, VA. As the Deputy Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for the management of Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA) personnel, facilities, and corporate management functions.
Major duties
You will serve as Deputy Chief of Staff responsible for management of Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA) personnel, facilities, and corporate management functions. You will be responsible for the synchronization and integration of efforts across the organization, including management of all civilian, military, and contractor personnel. You will coordinate with the Chief Human Capital Officer, Military Manpower Officer, and Contracting Officer's Representatives (COR) for the assimilation of information on hiring status and strategy for all personnel. You will develop the strategic facility plan for Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA) facilities in the DC metro area and serve as the senior official for the RDSA headquarters facility. You will support the Chief of Staff in development, justification, and execution of a multimillion dollar operating budget. You will provide guidance, resources, and set priorities on the development of enterprise level business products to ensure effective and timely implementation. You will perform the full breadth of supervisory duties to include: planning work, providing advice, hearing/resolving complaints, arranging developmental training, improving work/production quality, and developing/evaluating performance standards. You will aid in building effective teams, fostering a culture of respect for all team members, and providing opportunities for professional development.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-14) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1. Briefing and advising senior leaders in providing direction and decision making to maintain efficient and productive operations. 2. Coordinating with organization leadership and Contracting Officer's Representatives (COR) for the assimilation of information on hiring status and manpower strategy for all civilian, military, and contractor personnel. 3. Coordinating with the organization's stakeholders to develop clear and accurate enterprise level support goals. 4. Providing guidance, resources, and setting priorities on the development of enterprise level business products to ensure effective and timely implementation. 5. Building effective teams, fostering a culture of respect for all team members, and providing opportunities for professional development. 6. Capturing facility requirements to develop a strategic facility plan that anticipates future needs and serving as the senior official for a facility.
