Major duties
Greet walk-in patrons, answer phone calls. Process attraction ticket sales and orders in person and via phone. Provide research and sales for hotel, vacation package and cruise planning. Maintain accurate customer files for bookings. Assists patrons by providing information concerning available leisure activities, selling tickets, making reservations and arranging for special accommodations required for tours, sporting events, theaters and special events. Provides full assistance to individuals planning travel itineraries not requiring commercial transportation, including hotel reservations and other local service or information. Maintains brochures, price listings and related information for customer use. Receives payment, issues receipts and documents business transactions. Performs related administrative support duties related to customer filing and data entry. Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to qualify

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience which involved dealing with the general public and performing financial transactions. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possesses MWR Leisure Travel, Information, Tickets & Travel (ITT) and/ or Information, Tickets & Recreation (ITR), or general Travel Agency experience, to include selling, booking or traveling on cruises. Possesses experience selling, booking or vacation packages, attractions such as Disney or Universal, and All-inclusive resorts. Possesses general vacation travel experience, to include a variety of destinations, domestic and abroad. **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others will be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list **PLEASE NOTE: Your resume must reflect the qualifications stated in the announcement and questionnaire to be rated eligible.
