Maintenance Worker
What you'd do
Keep healthcare facilities safe and running smoothly by maintaining buildings, grounds, utilities, and essential systems while supporting patient care with minimal disruption. Major duties
Performs routine plumbing maintenance, repairing, cleaning and testing systems. Constructs, installs and repairs carpentry components such as framing, shelving and forms. Independently paint interior and exterior surfaces on existing residential units and equipment using standard coating methods such as brushing, rolling, and spraying. Performs roofing maintenance, including installing shingles and tiles. Performs gardening, landscaping, and other maintenance duties as assigned in support of facility upkeep and appearance. Uses a computerized maintenance management system to receive, document, and close work orders
What you need to qualify
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position.
