SECURITY ASSISTANT (OFFICE AUTOMATION)
What you'd do
You will serve as a Security Assistant (Office Automation) in the US Naval Base Guam of NAVBASE GUAM FORCE PROTECTION.
Major duties
You will perform and/or monitor standardized aspects of established security program operations. You will review documents for conformance with regulations, grammar, format and special policies. You will provide receptionist support to include maintaining files, scheduling appointments, managing appointments, answering phones, taking messages, processing local agency records checks, maintaining instructions and standard operating procedures. You will provide documentation, reports and vehicle maintenance programs for each vehicle. You will assist and guide staff in the procedural work of the office and in the preparation of correspondence.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing administrative and operational support to security management personnel; 2) Preparing and accurately maintaining diverse security support documents and records; 3) Delivering effective customer service support within a security or administrative environment; 4) Contributing to or supporting non-guard security programs and operations; 5) Performing assistant-level duties in security, administration, supply management, or vehicle control programs.
