Program Analyst (Operations and Rotation Specialist)
What you'd do
This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Damage Verification Center (DVC).The incumbent supports the execution of SBA damage verification operations during disaster declarations and rotational assignments working in collaboration with Damage Verification Center Production Managers (PMs), administrative support staff and Field Centers to coordinate field activities and travel.

As a Program Analyst (Operations and Rotation Specialist) at theGS- 0343-9, some of your typical work assignments may include: Establishes and maintains records of all DVC field activities by type, magnitude, location (state, county/parish), staffing, and other key statistics. Monitors ongoing and potential disaster activity and communicates relevant information to DVC management. Evaluates operational data, trends, and performance metrics to determine appropriate staffing levels and deployment strategies. Reviews DVC reports, surveys, and ULP data to identify trends and recurring operational issues. Communicates expectations, performance feedback, and readiness requirements to Construction Analysts and loss verifiers.
What you need to qualify
GS-09: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Plans and manages rotation schedules, and maintains clear records of field staff, their locations, deployments, training, skills, and availability; and Coordinates disaster operations by arranging staffing, equipment, travel, and lodging needs when disasters occur; and Reviews workload and performance data (for example, number of files, age of files, and team capacity) to determine staffing levels and how work should be assigned; and Uses reports and system data to present workforce needs to management, and recommends hiring, deployment length, and use of reservist staff; and Communicates work priorities, training opportunities, and disaster-response needs to staff and managers so roles and expectations are understood. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume. GS-09: 2 academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education. OR Master's degree (or equivalent graduate degree such as LL.B. or J.D. as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements) directly related to the position (Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Science, and Engineering). Education must be in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position. OR A combination of education and experience. For example, 1 full year (18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours) of graduate-level education (i.e. 50% of education required) and 6 months of creditable specialized experience (i.e. 50% of the required experience) would equal 100% of the required experience for the position.
