What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LIBRARIAN (MEDICAL SCIENCE) of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.

Major duties

You will write position descriptions and performance standards. You will counsel employees on individual job duties, responsibilities, performance standards, and established standard operating procedures and work requirements You will plan and direct the library instruction program at USU. You will create and develop topics of interest to USU patrons to be included in the instruction program

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Plans, directs, assigns and reviews tasks and projects assignments for library personnel assiged to the Reference and Information section to insure soundness of judgement, compliance with established policies and regulations. Directs, administrative duties developmemt and coordination, performance of work involved in processing and transmitting scientific, technological, and medical research information; library instruction to sudents, faculty, and staff at the University and management of the reference/information services branch.
