Major duties
Maintain a record of orders in a logbook and guarantee, orders are processed in accordance with Army regulations and standing operating procedures. Provide support with responsibility for monitoring, managing, reviewing, and initiating PARs and building student packets. Evaluate and receive various military Personnel Action Requests (PARs) to include orders for hazardous duty pay, housing allowances, and reassignments. Utilizes the Microsoft 365 Suite to draft correspondence and track historical data, ensuring accurate, grammar, punctuation and formatting and formulas. Process Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) actions for incoming and outgoing students for accountability and records maintenance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes processing military personnel actions, update and manage military personnel records. Perform clerical and general office support tasks, and use automated information systems of software to produce, store, retrieve, or transmit data in support of office administration functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
