What you'd do

Major duties

You will utilize a wide range of personnel management theories, concepts, principles, laws, regulations related to compensation, position classification, identify interrelated problems, draw conclusions, and apply the appropriate course of action. You will advise management with solutions involving highly complex human resources issues primarily in position and organizational development issues in a timely matter. You will perform job analysis efforts to develop qualification requirements and applicant evaluation techniques consistent with OPM qualification criteria to determine the best qualified applicants. You will utilize Federal Staffing and Classification, DCPDS and CWA automated systems.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-0201-01 or comparable GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience; Interpreting and applying position classification standards to positions and determining the correct pay category, occupational series, title, and grade level. Directing job analysis efforts to develop qualification requirements and applicant evaluation techniques consistent with OPM qualification criteria to determine the best qualified applicants. Utilizing a wide range of personnel management theories, concepts, principles, laws, rules and regulations related to classification, staffing, compensation and general EEO principle to identify interrelated problems and apply the appropriate course of action. Advising management with solutions involving highly complex human resources issues primarily in staffing/classification in a timely matter.
