Major duties
You will supervise, direct, and assist in managing PEO IWS acquisition oversight programs with efforts to include advising and supporting acquisition planning and strategy, creation of acquisition documentation and performance work statements. You will supervise, direct, and assist in a line capacity for managing PEO IWS acquisition oversight programs with efforts to include Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), DD-254, and other contractual documents. You will exercise delegated authorities to carry out program functions and services for the development of acquisition packages to include statement of work, contract modification, payment of vendor invoices, and contract deliverables. You will exercise delegated authorities for the development of acquisition packages to include independent government cost estimates, answering questions in response to request for proposal (RFP), and contractually efforts as deemed necessary. You will manage/supervise various administrative services and data deliverables through a combination of subordinate expert-level staff and/or contractual oversight/functions for the front office. You will create new tools to improve customer service and reduce workload for the acquisition workforce.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "Leading or managing an acquisition team to advise and support acquisition planning and strategies to guide organization, administration and civilian personnel to improve surface and submarine combat technologies and systems."
