What you'd do

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent will participate in all aspects of activities as it relates to the management of real and state property at Fort Stewart, GA.

Major duties

Analyze diverse data and stakeholder input to make well supported recommendations. Monitor milestones and performance metrics to ensure adherence to established projects schedules. Develop strategies to mitigate identified real property operational risks. Ensure regulatory and policy compliance for all real property transactional activities. Document audit findings using standard structural frameworks to report organizational deficiencies. Conduct routine quality assurance reviews to validate real property transactional and asset data. Ensure accuracy of a variety of documents related to real property, legal actions, maps, appraisal reviews, and environmental documentation. Evaluate real property agreements, leases, permits, easements, to ensure legal accuracy and regulatory compliance. Execute real property acquisitions and disposals in accordance with statutory authorities and federal regulations. Enforce internal policy directives to ensure program activities remain in full compliance. Establish auditable real property files that comply with federal internal control standards.

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Executing systematic program for the inspections of non-housing facilities to ensure all are quantitatively surveyed and reconciled with the official Real Property Inventory database; Conducting investigations to determine real property requirements; Reviewing activity space requests against applicable regulations, to deliver strategic recommendations; Preparing justification for planned excess actions such as demolition, transfer of ownership, sale, or exchange. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
