What you'd do
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Arts & Crafts Center on Dover Air Force Base. As a FLEX employee you may work anywhere between 0-40 hrs. per week on an as needed basis.
Major duties
Assists in the operation of the Engraving Shop. Receives orders for custom printing, and engraving. Receives and properly completes order forms. Ensures payment for merchandise and or services. Collects, safeguards, and deposits fees received from customers. Conducts periodic inventory and ensures inventory levels are adequate to prepare orders. Stocks merchandise received. Assists in the operation of the following equipment, class 4 Laser Engraver. Computerized engravers, large format printers, heat press/seal press, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. Provides classroom instruction to include but not limited to general arts and crafts. Will maintain all equipment. Keep work area neat and clean. Must have experience in using hand tools and simple mechanical equipment. Must have the ability to perform common math problems.
