What you'd do
This position is located at The West Point Club. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Major duties
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the operation. Establishes, maintains or controls files and logs. Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions (e.g. personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply, transportation, security, etc.). Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person. Follows up as required. Types various correspondence and reports. Tabulates statistical data into final format. Gathers data and documentation for special projects and prepares briefing support materials.
What you need to qualify
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Basic computer and math skills, and clerical and administrative work experience performing the following duties: filing documents, organizing electronic and hard copy files, scheduling appointments, answering telephones, submitting time & attendance, requesting supplies as needed, performing inventory on current supplies. 2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other software as required. 3. Must be highly skilled in written and verbal communication. 4. Must be able to type 40 words per minute. This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Must possess previous work experience with NAF MWR. The experience must be reflected on your resume at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.
