SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Engineering Department (200) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
Major duties
You will be responsible for the delivery of management and coordination. You will develop and evaluate subordinate employee's performance standards. You will monitor and oversee the work of MARMC 2M Inspectors in the assignment, coordination and management of 2M shipboard and shore site inspections technician recertifications. You will monitor and oversee the Engineering Department's calibration program. You will be expected to be an expert in both technical and administrative aspects of the work.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in computer programs including Microsoft Office suite products. Experience applying practical skill and ability to organize, direct, and supervisor a varied workforce composed of technicians, administrative, military, and contractor personnel or similar. Experience applying knowledge of advanced management principles, practices, methods, techniques, and skill in integrating management services with the department management. Experience applying knowledge of guidelines and manuals used to create briefing reports for higher level presentation. Experience in budget process and mission financial controls.
