TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (OA)
What you'd do
You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (OA) n the INSTALLATION AND LOGISTICS DEPARRTMENT of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.
Major duties
You will coordinate freight shipments and select carriers. You will research transportation regulations and resolve discrepancies. You will prepare and review transportation documentation. You will compile data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate shipment records. You will investigate shipment losses or damages and produce office correspondence using automated systems.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing support with transportation of material, supplies, equipment, vehicles, or parts in accordance with regulations, methods and practices.
