Major duties

You will serve as the Division Manager/Unlimited Warranted Contracting Officer within the Contracts Department. You will conduct, direct and supervise the general functions of the division. You will be responsible for planning, solicitation, negotiation, administration and close-out of all purchase orders, task orders, Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs), contracts, grants, cooperative agreements and other transactions. You will conduct advanced planning, negotiation and administration of highly complex contracts and agreements for supplies and services. You will be required to interpret regulations and policies imposed by higher organizational levels.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional contracting specialist, managing and executing complex contract activities for supplies and services to ensure procurement or contractual obligations are in compliance with Federal and Department of War regulations and policies for the success of the division.
