LEAD HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL/OA)
What you'd do
You will serve as a LEAD HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL/OA) in the SUPPORT BATTALION, RECRUIT ADMIN CENTER of RECRUIT TRAINING REGIMENT.
Major duties
You will update, inquire, and process actions through systems. You will review records and verify data affecting various other entitlements. You will process standard actions for assigned areas such as assignment, enlistment, meritorious promotion, award, proficiency, and conduct evaluations. You will be responsible as the lead for ensuring that work assignments of subordinate employees withing their section are assigned and carried out. You will make adjustments to priorities when needed, provide on the job training as needed, and review work in progress.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing automated personnel or records management systems to process transactions, maintaining records and documentation, providing customer service in a professional office environment, and coordinating daily administrative activities. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: 203 Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
