What you'd do

You will serve as a Engineer in the WEAPONS ANALYSIS DIVISION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. The ND-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-12/13.

Major duties

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Aegis Systems and Analysis and facilitates mentoring across Aegis warfare areas. You will perform scenario reconstruction, data analysis, performance assessment, issue identification/documentation across Aegis warfare areas. You will organize a collaborative analysis effort across Aegis warfare areas as well as with analysts from other elements and other organizations to document system anomalies. You will develop requirements for and acts as a tester for AWS analysis tools and database for AEGIS such as PHOENIX, PHEONIX OA, PCTOOLBOX, PET, DART, OUTLINE, ADEPT, EPIC and additional software tools as needed.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer conducting root cause analysis and proposing solutions to resolve testing problems of electronic systems and equipment for naval ship and weapons systems.
