SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST
What you'd do
YOU WILL SERVE AS A SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST IN THE COMPTROLLER GROUP, FINANCIAL SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT, GENERAL FUND BUSINESS OFFICE DIVISION, OPERATTIONS BRANCH OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This position may be filled at one of the following locations and salary will be set IAW the duty location pay table as follows: Patuxent River, MD-$121,785 - $187,093 Mechanicsburg, PA - $106,437 - $163,514 San Diego, CA - $121,585 - $186,785 Norfolk, VA - $108,019 - $165,945
Major duties
You will provide financial system support in all system-related functions including organizational management, personnel administration, structural authorizations, training, time and attendance, master data maintenance, interfaces and reporting. You will lead modules with control and responsibility for prioritization of work efforts performed by the contract team(s). You will perform research tasks to obtain a variety of cost, schedule, performance data and conducts analyses to derive relationships among system parameters, schedule variations, and costs. You will recommend procedures for preparing, documenting, validating, and presenting resources requirements to higher authority. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will negotiate and assign subordinates to project teams as required based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the skills of employees.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Must have knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods, supplemented by a practical knowledge of enterprise resource planning system concepts and practices; 2) Knowledge of state-of-the-art computing concepts and design methodologies and tools relevant to the design, development, validation, and implementation of the enterprise resource planning system; 3) Ability to manage integration requirements with end users and sustaining a steady state of successful business practices and operations: 4) Interpret and apply applicable rules, laws, regulations in routine matters relevant to assigned functional areas; 5) Analyze problems/procedures and recommend solutions; 6) Plan and coordinate individual assignments to meet project/assignment goals; 7) Lead assigned projects/ programs to meet established goals and targets; 8) Ability to communicate with stakeholders, leadership, management, and employees concerning enterprise resource planning system operations, overall enterprise resource planning system status, and enterprise resource planning system issues.
