This position is located at the Directorate of Cadet Activities Administration. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid

Major duties

Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology (IT) customer support services for the Directorate of Cadet Activities (DCA). Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services to the organization. Identifies and resolves issues and problems. Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles and practices. Provides help desk support, including information and assistance, to customers including system hardware/software installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting. Reports, responds, to and resolves customer requests. Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software IA problems pertaining to their CE. Evaluates established methods and procedures and prepares recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate Prepares and updates manuals, instructions, and operating procedures. Implement and monitor IA safeguards for CE system(s) in accordance with implementation plans and standard operating procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to qualify

A qualified candidate must possess the following: One (1) year of work experience which demonstrates Information Technology knowledge and skill to include all of the following: - Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services; AND - Installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components; AND - Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers; AND - Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests. This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. OR Undergraduate or Graduate Education degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks may be substitute for above experience. The education must be reflected on your resume and your degree/transcript uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position.
