Major duties
Develop new procedures or guidance on design projects. Provide technical guidance on the design of new systems. Prepare periodic reports for activity's procurement actions. Advise management of likely trouble spots in design implementation. Perform studies for the integration of existing systems with new systems. Provide technical advice in the conversion and implementation of new and reconfigured systems. Perform market research analysis to locate possible sources and market information for specialized items or services to meet mission requirements.

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized experience at GS-12: Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: 1) Assisting with training on creating queries using Business Intelligence (BI) suite; 2) Utilizing logistics management software and reporting/analysis tools such as: Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), SAP R3, and CAMS; 3) Assisting with evaluating information collected for allocation of resources and project priorities; 4) Assisting with planning and analysis of long-range automation plans and requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
