What you'd do

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst for COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.

Major duties

You will be serving as a Financial Management Analyst, FLT Comptroller, Financial MGMT, Executive Dir/Cos, in Norfolk, Va. You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration with a focus on leveraging ERP systems for efficient financial management. You will review and evaluate budget requests, controls, and reporting of obligations and expenditures utilizing ERP system data for accuracy and compliance. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organizations programs, supported by ERP system analytics. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices, incorporating ERP system capabilities and functionalities. You will perform a variety of fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties, with an emphasis on ERP system data and processes. You will participate in training ERP sessions for end-users on all financial modules. You will Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement system updates, troubleshoot issues and optimize ERP financial workflows. You will assist in the review of system controls, audit trails, and data security within the ERP platform to ensure integrity of financial information.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Experience administering and supporting Navy ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems used for financial management and resource planning. - Experience managing user provisioning, role assignments, and access controls while maintaining compliance with internal control and audit requirements. - Experience analyzing financial system transactions and reports to identify issues, improve processes, and support mission execution. - Experience coordinating with financial managers, auditors, and system stakeholders to resolve system issues and support financial management operations. - Experience participating in system testing, implementation, and modernization efforts to improve financial processes, system functionality, and audit readiness.
