What you'd do

Major duties
You will be responsible for leading projects and efforts, to include project execution, cost, schedule performance and risk. You will will evaluate and advise on the feasibility of new technology and state-of-the-art solution for incorporation into existing systems and equipment. You will will also conduct and lead test events for these systems specifically with test planning, test setup, test execution, test analysis and documentation which includes test objective, test plan, and test report development. You will will conduct and lead testbed setup, such as installing and cabling of equipment in testbed racks, installing software systems and components, and the configuration of information technology equipment. You will will also develop or direct the development of plans, schedules and track progress of design, development, test and integration efforts from beginning to completion.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Designing, developing, testng and/or evaluate Navy C4I networking systems using Software Defined Networking (SDN), Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) routing protocols, and/or Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise Services (CANES); and leading test planning, execution, analysis, and documentation; and/or assessing emerging technologies for system integration.
