What you'd do
You will serve as a Scientist in the SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES EW BRANCH, EXPEDITIONARY ELECTROMAGNETIC WARFARE DIVISION, RAPID MISSION INTEGRATION & INTEROPERABILITY DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-12/13
Major duties
You will support planning, coordination, scheduling, and direction of all ECM and C-UAS testing. You will support PMCP's ECM, CUxS, and EOD testing operations, equipment, and team integration. You will direct test team of personnel assigned at the ATF, providing day to day direction. You will plan, program, and execute ATF test resources and funding. You will develop and publish test results. You will serve as NMF and TMF Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for specific ECM and C-UAS requirements and threat management processes. You will coordinate, deconflict, and manage ECM and C-UAS test efforts executed by or through independent test organizations. You will coordinate with and sustain support to EOD, Render Safe Electronics (RSE) site, and testing and training facilities/activities, as required. You will serve as PMCP’s lead for Aberdeen Training Facility (ATF) testing operations, equipment accountability, and test/logistical support team integration. You will coordinate software and load set sustainment and testing of fielded ECM capabilities. You will execute other duties as assigned by Expeditionary EMW Division or Program Manager Counter Proliferation.
What you need to qualify
In Addition to the basic education requirements: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional scientist research and developing projects involving advanced technologies for use in eliminating mission gaps, challenges, and issues that may arise with an organization.
