Supervisory Financial Management Analyst
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in DIVISION 700, DEPARTMENT 720 of SUPSHIP GULF COAST. This position is part of the DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). The NH-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS 12-13 grade levels.
Major duties
You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work. You will formulate the budget or cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will develop performance standards and evaluate employee performance. You will review, analyze, edit, and consolidate budget estimates. You will provide justifications to develop a budget package that reflects balanced multi-year funding needs of the command.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading or developing financial management analysis and budget administration activities for acquisition programs or projects.
