About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Network Indo Pacific, located on the campus of Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu Hawaii.
Major duties
Provide critical analysis and planning to ensure synchronized medical support for current and future operations throughout the Indo-Pacific AOR. Apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve network effectiveness. Interpret data from numerous internal and external stakeholders in order to identify gaps and develop innovative solutions to enhance mission effectiveness. Inform senior-leader decision-making through timely reports, predictive analysis, and continuous process improvement. Process and manage Director’s Critical Information Requirements (DCIR)/ Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIR), Manning Assistance Requests (MARs), and Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) taskings. Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes providing operational oversight and analysis for network-level medical communications and information operations; supporting medical operations centers and crisis response activities; evaluating healthcare operations to identify improvements; and managing or assigning organizational taskers for a multi-facility medical operation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-12). Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with medical communications and information operations; participating in medical operations centers or crisis response activities; compiling operational data to support the evaluation of healthcare operations; and tracking and distributing organizational taskers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement GS-13: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement GS-12: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
