MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the OFFICE OF THE JUDGE ADVOCATE GENERAL of OSTC.
Major duties
You will serve as the primary liaison for all incoming contacts and maintain a positive working relationship with all personnel, callers, and visitors. You will answer incoming phone calls and inquiries from visitors, using discretion to screen and refer calls and visitors to staff and attorneys accordingly. You will be responsible for maintaining records and files in accordance with prescribed regulations and policies. You will be responsible for submitting various weekly, monthly, and annual reports as requested. You will conduct initial quality assurance reviews of case/client files to ensure all documents are complete and meet legal regulations.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing various computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, online databases or case management software for data entry, file storage, and tracking; 2) Applying interpersonal skills to liaise with commands, victims, witnesses, attorneys, investigators, and other Navy stakeholders to schedule appointments or receive or give updates on case status; and 3) Generating case files for attorneys and paralegals by distributing correspondence and assembling legal filings drafted by others.
