SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician in the NAVFAC MIDLANT, NORFOLK VA of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Major duties
You will operate and maintain disparate sections of natural gas distribution. You will review utility system drawing, contract specifiacations, and utility studies You will prepare narrative reports, production summaries, and financial status reports. You will track and document work to include a preventive maintenance program, and utility asset condition.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing and managing engineering personnel providing construction management, construction contract technical support, and site management on projects; 2) Performing quality assurance on construction projects; 3) Utilizing various construction practices and procedures; 4) Reviewing plans and coordinating with stakeholders; 5) Resolving technical issues and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget; and 6) Utilizing computer systems and related accessories.
