SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a the Branch Head of the Product Development Branch (EB32200) within the Airborne Instrumentation Division of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Major duties
You will direct the programmatic oversight, resource allocation, and milestone tracking for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of complex engineering prototypes. You will optimize technical workflows, establish production schedules, and analyze operational metrics to ensure program deliverables meet cost and schedule constraints. You will provide strategic direction, technical mentorship, and performance-driven leadership to a multidisciplinary team of technical and program professionals. You will manage full-spectrum supervisory duties, including executing personnel actions, evaluating performance, resolving grievances, and administering labor relations. You will analyze branch training metrics, identify skill gaps, and formulate professional development plans to sustain long-term operational capabilities.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Leading or managing the development, fabrication, or testing of advanced instrumentation systems, hardware components (such as telemeters, printed wiring boards, or experimental prototypes); 2) Directing, planning, or coordinating technical workflows and production schedules for complex engineering and manufacturing projects; and 3) Providing technical guidance, mentorship, or team leadership to a group of multidisciplinary technical and engineering professionals.
