SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER
What you'd do
You will serve as a Systems Engineering Team Supervisor in the Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division (GT56) of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Major duties
You will develop acquisition documentation and manage technical reviews for highly complex training systems. You will lead and supervise a multidisciplinary technical team, promoting efficiency and alignment with leadership priorities. You will coordinate with non-technical stakeholders and functional disciplines across the full acquisition lifecycle. You will maintain the technical baseline and oversee all technical aspects of complex training systems, including subsystems and interfaces. You will direct the team's technical activities, review system performance specifications, and evaluate the overall effectiveness of engineering processes.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Serving as a Lead Systems Engineer, developing acquisition package documentation and managing Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events for highly complex training systems; 2) Leading multidisciplinary technical teams, promoting efficiency and alignment with leadership priorities to achieve high performance and accelerate warfighter readiness; 3) Experienced across the full acquisition lifecycle while effectively coordinating with non-technical stakeholders and functional disciplines; 4) Maintaining the technical baseline and overseeing all technical aspects of complex training systems, including associated subsystems, interfaces, and integration efforts.
