What you'd do

You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Aviation Support Department of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF.

Major duties

You will perform service in support of expediting requisitions, inventory control, and disposition of the entire Aviation Depot Level Repairable (AVDLR) assets aboard Naval Air Station Lemoore. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of transactions regarding high cost repairable assets to the AVDLR Carcass Tracking File. You will demonstrate knowledge of Uniform Material Management Issue Processing System (UMMIPS), NALCOMIS procedures and techniques; supply AVDLR management concepts, principles, techniques, and practices. You will perform in-depth research of files, publications and other pertinent documentation prior to input. You will update actions to transactions, as required on files including modifying, adding or deleting data. You will review supply documents originating from various squadrons, FRC, tenant activities and fleet customers for correct coding of MILSTRIP data for compatibility with appropriate AVDLR UADPS-SP/ NALCOMIS procedures. You will utilize the Master Repair Identification List (MRIL) to assign and process required documentation for shipment of Not Ready For Issue (NRFI) material to correct Designated Overhaul Point (DOP).

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing supply system databases to track requisitions, inventory, or equipment availability and develop reports in order to recommend materials for overhaul operations.
