SUPPLY TECHNICIAN
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the REQUIREMENTS BRANCH (R511) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Major duties
You will review computer generated stock listings of items to be replenished. You will follow up on material on order; review status of orders at various points in the requisitioning process; check references for problem items to determine the source of error; and validate monthly change notices updating information on items. You will review computer generated supply action and confirm or adjust data field based on estimates of requirements. You will maintain contact with customers to ensure proper maintenance of stock levels. You will plan for and determine current requirements to include range and depth of material and commensurate with the availability of funds.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience preparing reports, correspondence, replenishment/maintenance of supply items. Experience analyzing and solving technical supply support problems. Experience analyzing demand trends, stock turn, investment levels, and net and gross supply availability using computer software. Experience initiating and maintaining supply orders and their associated records. Experience maintaining open communication with customers to ensure that all supply levels are maintained and replenished.
