PROGRAM MANAGER
What you'd do
You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the HEADQUARTERS OPERATIONS of COMMANDER - NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND.
Major duties
You will serve organizationally as the Headquarters Program Manager for Port Operations under the Headquarters Program Director for Port Operations. You will act as senior advisor with responsibility for personnel management, developing policies, establishing procedures, and programming budgets to provide port operations ashore services. You will provide standardization and implementation of best/most efficient practices for Port Operations. You will have close coordination between military and civil service personnel to ensure that port operations within the Navy are expertly planned and executed.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing management and coordination of all programs and technical assistance to regional and installation Port Operations Officers and coordinates all equipment requirements; Experience providing expertise and executive guidance to the Port Operations Program Director in the development of policies and procedures affecting all functional areas; Experience advising on program areas involving all port operations issues as well as budgets, policies, evaluating and deciding on complex problems and establishing criteria for port operation projects; Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=GS-ADMIN Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
