Major duties

Gathers, analyzes, and summarizes complex Technical and Quality data regarding past, present, and projectedprocess activity. Builds Access Queries/Tables, combining data from sources such as Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) and Business Intelligence. Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates KPIs, metrics, and other process performance critical data to ensure the process area is meeting its performance targets. Ensures enterprise-wide Technical and Quality processes and procedures, as well as documented DLMS business rules are adhered to. Conducts or participates as a senior analyst, in detailed program reviews that involve evaluating, advising on, and improving the effectiveness of a broad range of supply chain programs. Identifies EBS processes that could benefit from automation and determines the need for an RFC or service ticket. Prepare detailed written reports containing concise findings and innovative recommendations for improving process and policy effectiveness, enhancing end-user training, or improving system performance. Conduct Internal Control Reviews (ICRs) in accordance with ODS requirements, to include in-depth analysis and documentation of the review.

What you need to qualify

A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Utilizing knowledge of technical and quality assurance principles, concepts, and methodologies, complex products, pertinent technical characteristics, manufacturing methods and techniques, special processes, and measurement/test techniques to accomplish tasks. Implementing practical knowledge of characteristics, properties, uses, interrelationships of components within assigned commodity groupings, and preservation/packaging technology and processes into solutions. Communicating with large or small teams to identify and resolve technical and quality process issues. Delivering training to employees/individuals and defining training needs for a Technical Quality Assurance program. Analyzing techniques and evaluating methods to investigate and research issues which lead to the development of effective and efficient Technical and Quality Solutions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
