MAINTENANCE WORKER
What you'd do
You will serve as a MAINTENANCE WORKER in the FACILITIES DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Major duties
You will perform repetitious and routine work, such as replacing sheeting, rafters, beams, etc., refitting doors, screen frames, multiple cuttings, nailing, etc., using hand tools and simple power machines. You will measure, cut, and perform woodwork on simple jobs, such as fabrication of scaffolds, wall panels, boxes, concrete forms. You will replace damaged parts on a structure and replace vinyl tile. You will install metal roofing panels or sheets of various types, overlapping and staggering edges to provide proper watershed and closing seams. You will install flashings, gutters, gravel stops and vent jacks.
