MANAGER
What you'd do
You will serve as a BRANCH MANAGER in the Warfighter Defense & Systems Integration Department (W), Naval PHS&T Division (W6), Ordnance Logistics/Explosive Safety Branch (W63) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
Major duties
You will serve as the Branch Head of the Ordnance Logistics/Explosives Safety Branch and direct workforce responsible for the General Purpose Ordnance Handling Equipment Program, Material Handling Equipment ISEA, Explosive Safety Technical Manuals. You will direct workforce responsible for the Transportation Regulations, Outfitting New Construction Ships (SCN PARM), OHE Contracts Monitoring and Shipboard and Shore PHST Inspection Teams.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading program management efforts to support logistics management services pertaining to ordnance packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (e.g., supporting ordnance/materials handling equipment, explosives safety regulations and publications, hazardous material transportation) for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations for an organization.
