About the Position: This position is located at Department of Resource Management, Fort Gordon, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Major duties
Revises budget formulation and execution methods to strengthen accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance. Maintains and interprets extensive historical and current financial datafrom multiple Medical Treatment Facilities to develop Command Budget Estimates and supportspecial studies and reviews. Evaluates contractor financial management practices toensure proper resource utilization, quality control, and subcontractor oversight. Develops performance standards and preparesperformance appraisals to support employee development and accountability.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes forecasting operational needs to establish budget figures; advising on financial operations to ensure regulatory compliance; AND monitoring expenditures or requisitions to identify discrepancies or funding shortages. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
