What you'd do
About the Position: This position is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center - Supply Chain Management, Tacoma, Washington. Tacoma is a diverse city nestled between Seattle and the state capital of Olympia. Tacoma is located on the shores of Commencement Bay, within pristine eyesight of Mount Rainier. Major duties
Maintains production reports and records. Ensures that stored medical supplies are properly identified, located, stored, cared for, inspected and retained in ready-for-use condition. Ensures security procedures are maintained for the handling and storage of sensitive medical items such as drugs, needles, etc. Coordinates and manages the medical HAZMAT/Waste for both the hospital and installation. Validates, certifies, and coordinates the transportation and shipping of hazardous medical materiel and items requiring cold chain management. Participates in initial planning of work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, and other similar estimates.
