About the Position: The incumbent will be assigned to the 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, at Fort Rucker, AL.
Major duties
Provide contract oversight through assigned Contracting Officer Representative and Quality Assurance Evaluation staff. Evaluate contractor performance and customer service in the installation supply and services activities. Provide technical assistance services to the contracting officer to include proposed changes and or modification in workload, mission and contract provisions, and certification of services. Provide contract requirements development and contract monitoring support by assisting in developing policy, performance work statements, statements of work, and other contract documentation. Control the receipt, utilization, distribution, shipment, disposal, accountability, and maintenance of supplies, materials, equipment, and other property. Conduct internal review evaluations and supply performance studies to determine efficiency of support and service. Perform a variety of special logistics projects and assignments. Establish priorities and deadlines to provide for the overall accomplishment of the installation supply and services activities and/or other mission. Perform a variety of special logistics projects and assignments. Exercise the full range of supervisory duties over subordinate administrative, clerical, and trades and craft employees.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Determining improvements in policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program; 2) Monitoring contractor performance for an organization; 3) Providing guidance on supply management policies or procedures; and 4) Leading supply projects and/or personnel to increase program efficiency. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Contracting Support Managing Human Resources Planning and Evaluating Supply Support Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
